Silent Build

Silent Discard Control Build

Discard is the glue package. It can support Poison or Shiv, but it becomes a full engine once the run offers Tingsha, Tough Bandages, or both.

Opening Plan

Build the first working version

Acrobatics and Dagger Throw make early hands cleaner without requiring a relic. Begin there and let the run reveal the payoff.

Draft Rule

Know when the package is real

Discard should improve card access first. Tingsha and Tough Bandages can turn that utility into a win condition later.

Synergy

How the pieces connect

Acrobatics and Dagger Throw combine card access with a controlled discard. Calculated Gamble rebuilds an entire bad hand, while Expertise keeps two new cards available for the current turn. Discard relics turn those routine hand fixes into damage or Block.

How To Play It

Turn order that makes the package work

A rough sequence for the deck's key turn. Real runs shuffle the order, but this is how the pieces are meant to chain: set the engine, then spend into the payoff.

  1. Acrobatics card artworkAcrobatics

Dig first: draw three and discard the weakest card to shape a workable hand.

  2. Dagger Throw card artworkDagger Throw

Trade damage for flow: hit for 9, draw one, and discard another dead card.

  3. Calculated Gamble card artworkCalculated Gamble

Reset a bad hand: discard everything and redraw the same number of fresh cards.

  4. Expertise card artworkExpertise

Lock in the keepers: draw two and Retain them so the turn ends with the cards you want.

Core Cards

The four cards that define the shell

These are engine markers, not four mandatory picks. The tier label follows the current character board; an unranked card can still be the narrow piece that completes this shell.

Relic Signals

Relics that make the lane stronger

These relics improve the package, but they are not entry tickets. Draft a working deck first and treat the relic as a reason to lean harder into a line that already functions.

Whenever you discard a card during your turn, deal 3 damage to a random enemy for each card discarded.
